Can I still take it if they found out? I was fired for low performance several years ago.

If you need the money just take it and keep looking until something better comes along.
just go for it (nothing to lose), bny has no clue what its doing most of the time
If you were let go for low performance, they won’t hire you back. But layoff can return.
