Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Inconsistent! Sh---y PL

PL is an A$$h$$e, he doesn't even come to office.
Been 3 years with ford and received inconsistent for the first time, I asked if I’m on PIP, he said no. And said to do more work? Lol!
We’re already over a 50hr week here!
I wish if there a way to report this!!
Started applying already…

The entire company is in survival mode. Read about "operant conditioning by punishment". I think that's the game that upper management is playing now.

In model e, we were required to give at least 40% of our people and inconsistent in at least one behavior category. There was not a requirement to give an inconsistent as the overall rating. But I'm sure that is coming next year.

@bb+1jm81g65d I am not an LL6, but LL6s have to bring the bacon home too. Plus most of the LL6s are way behind technically, so it would be harder for them to get a new job.

Sure, there are plenty LL6s that are evil, playing politics in the team, and allowing their friends to get an easy pass. But there are still a few good ones...

@bw+1jm81g65d Hey, buddy. Take it easy. There are many here, including me, that appreciate you being honest. Don't let that guy to get under your skin.

"Oh poor little LL6! You are right, you couldn't do anything other than choose who you get along better and spare them from the incoming bath of blood."

So what exactly do you suggest I do? What would you do?

If you cannot tell that I was being honest and candid, if you cannot tell who is you ally vs. enemy, and if you continue to blame your LL6 and every LL6 for your suffering, then you are just creating troubles for yourself.

I guess I should have hired a couple folks like you in my team. That would have made my job much easier and made other team mates happy.

@ab+1jm81g65d- yep. This also is applied at a higher level. LL5s are forced to include “inconsistent” LL6s, and there was a big argument between LL5s. etc. etc. know the rest of the story.

So much for having a healthy culture.

"I didn't want to, but what could I do?" Oh poor little LL6! You are right, you couldn't do anything other than choose who you get along better and spare them from the incoming bath of blood.

If your PL is LL6, don't blame him. I'm pretty sure he didn't have a choice.

I'm LL6 too. I was told to assign a certain percentage of Inconsistent. I tried to rate everyone as Consistent but then my ratings were returned. My LL5 and HRBP insisted that I rate someones as Inconsistent, otherwise they wouldn't approve. I didn't want to but what could I do.

'“Inconsistent“ is when people like Farley and CM start an LLC based on an impossible concept, lose $200 Million, have to refund all customers’ money, but nobody got fired.'

Yet. It looks like they are setting up OP to take the fall probably with some other people who do actual work.
