Depends on the role. Pass on any "engineering' position, they've moved on from taking that seriously. Everything done by rote and legacy, no real engineering. You'll be bored stiffless

It’s a developing country but easy access to the southern carribean. Positive work environment with all the growth. If you worked upstream internationally before outside of North America then you’ll know what to expect

You should visit before taking the assignment. Even if it is on your own dime. It is a very hot humid boring place. I know an engineer that was kept over his two years because they could not find a replacement. He had to threaten to quit to get moved back to civilization. It reminds me of some of the African fields exxon had back in the day or new guinea.
