I am struggling to work today because i am so anxious. I work in contracting- I have not seen anything about it on my side but are people still being notified?

I love how they show no sympathy or compassion to people who are upset about this. How could we not be with the cold and sudden way it was delivered, and no one will answer any questions. Just like BT, we find out everything on the internet rather than through the company. They're acting like it's a positive when people are truly terrified they'll lose their jobs when all you hear across the country is how everyone everywhere is being fired or laid off. They should have offered EAP on Monday and not waited until today to mention it. I've woken up in a cold sweat and panic each morning since Monday, and i dont have a mortgage or family to worry about. My heart truly goes out to everyone.
I found out within an hour of the meeting.
I invite cpl hrs before the meeting
Based on our FAQs contractors are not affected.
I worked over the weekend and the invite was sent at eod Friday for a Monday morning meeting. Was told it was all across US teams under Mike Baker. I would assume all meetings are done since the first info session to learn more is tomorrow and we only have until March 3rd to sign up.
I received the meeting invite last Friday evening with the meeting scheduled for yesterday morning.
I logged in on Monday and it was already in my inbox waiting to be accepted
