Was this a recent idea that Tim Noel came in and immediately implemented? Or was this in the works before Thompson was shot but delayed because of the shooting?
It seems like this mainly affects Mike Baker’s organization, is this something that Baker can decide to do on his own, or does it require approval from Noel/Witty?
Analytics history only goes back 90 days to November. Doesn't necessarily mean it was created then
correction the first view to the site is showing Jan 29, 2025 with the first spike on Feb 10, 2025 which is probably when they shared it with the leaders.
Where are you getting that the page was created in Nov ‘24?
The Page Analytics isn’t showing when the page was created but you can see “Page Views” for the last 7/30/90 days. If you click on 90 days it doesn’t show any views until this week. This view option is standard on all the sharepoint pages regardless of when a page is created. I’m just as shocked and concerned as everyone else but let’s not put incorrect information out there to stir up assumptions.
If this is all in Mike Bakers teams and mainly under Bruce Thompson’s ( a Senior VP under Mike Baker) benefit operation teams, then it is being done by them and they do not need further approvals. Bruce would be doing it purely to meet savings targets so he can meet or exceed goals he was given or promised without harming his other preferred teams. The timelines given mean that they “booked” savings into their budgets for the year on those timelines and now have to come up with ways to obtain those savings. There are major problems already with system setup and that will just get worse if they don’t first increase accuracy and automation.
Now when you say it was created November 2024, is that for this VRSP specifically, or are you referring to a page for general information about buyouts?
If it’s for this one specifically, that would lead me to believe that this was Thompson’s idea but it was delayed because of the shooting
