Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

I recently got a Pulse Survey . . .

It was only about 10 questions -- much shorter than the annual survey we used to get. I hammered the company on the questions, especially the "How likely am I to recommend AT&T to others". I know the company does not really care but I enjoyed giving the feedback anyway. Has anyone else received the survey lately?

I’ve always gave my unbiased opinion for 26+ years, if they can’t accept the facts and truth then quit asking for our feedback. Filing the results into file 13 when it doesn’t meet their expectations is a big tell of poor management and the less than stellar treatment of employees.

Ntwk Engineering sent one out a few yrs ago and 5 of us decided to copy about 1000 extra's and filled them out using different pens, colors, pencils and handwriting.
Kitchens and his cheerleader only said that we were a bunch of mal contents and never released the results.
Suggest same. But don't ever think an online response is anonymous and unless your ready to terminate immediately or be fired always respond that everything is just fine.

Hi! HR person here (not at AT&T). The surveys are NEVER anonymous. As someone else mentioned, rate 10/10 if you want to keep your job.

Former HR Analytics Manager. Was surprised to learn that the surveys we were told we anonymous through 3rd parties like perceptyx actually give access to SLT to get the employee name, derived from IP address and Microsoft cookies. I would rate AT&T 10 out of 10 if you want to keep your job.

"If it's prompting global logon it's not anonymous"

It is not prompting a global logon. But, that does not mean it is still anonymous. However, I have no reason to stay so if they come for me and put on the list, then that is fine. If I cannot tell the truth and this point in my career then I will never be able to tell the truth. However, I do not think any change is coming.

They asked so you tell them the truth. If you lie things won’t change. Hammer them hard.

They claim it's anonymous but responses can be split and organized into different demographics.

I would suggest that people be careful about these surveys. I can't prove it but I believe my responses on a survey might have put me at the top of a surplus list. They claim it's anonymous but responses can be split and organized into different demographics. Your department, gender, etc. They can probably figure out who said what. Don't kid yourself that it makes a difference. I see it as 2 options. Keep yourself safe with flattering responses or be true to your integrity and don't participate at all.

T been spinning collaboration for several years, even as they sent jobs to India, Malaysia, Checosovaki, etc. Now everybody gotta be in the same place. Confusing!!!

Yes, I got one also. Low ratings on all the questions. If the leaders cared about anything, it might be useful.
