Is this even offered to those with a performance rating of 2? Or did you have to have at least a 3 for it to be offered to? If any 2s are receiving this, I would say that's a good deal as traditional severance doesn't apply if you get let go due to performance.

Always apply for unemployment. Be a pain as they will have to contact UHG. Even if there is the 1 week wait and you don’t get your first check until 6 weeks later, it will be 5 weeks paid. It’s pretty hard to be denied unemployment unless you robbed the company or ki-led some while working.
News flash in CO if you get any severance unemployment goes poof. The system is so sc--wed up you will find another job before you get the first payment even if you did qualify for a payment.
Reposting from another chat. … Based on the latest volunteer severance payout offer, you only get 1 month longer than internally published involun-told severance. If you are in the red states with low state’s weekly unemployment pay, you’re better off taking retirement severance. However if you are in higher benefit states like MN, CO, MA, IL ; you will lose money since 1 month of pay is far less than the 6 months of state unemployment benefits. For those in Minnesota don’t take the latest offer. Do the math, latest offer from UHG is designed so you lose out. Company not explaining this is how you’ll get one in the a-s on your way out of the revolving door. Good luck in your decision.
No, the rating doesn't count for the buyout portion.
I don’t even think the rating counts? You could have met metrics all year they give you a 3? So if you think it’s about metrics it isn’t? The lay offs go by tenure, those not meeting metrics and than I guess they pick their choices. I work in the vision dental department along with their escalation team, provider services, supervisors and business managers included. We have 4 site directors. Business managers are going to be let go because they save money on higher salaries and site directors should go because there is 4 of them with higher salaries and both are redundant. They want to offshores 70% and 30% stays in the states. I’m pretty sure they are closing all departments where I work. If you sign that severance no right to sue. We have sone companies that have in their contract no off shore agent so the month november keeps popping up. i thinl at that point the entire department sh--s down. i cant stand the BM's or site directors and when they told us no mention of transferring to other departments. i tead somewhere an employee was in the middle of transferring was shut down. ive been through a layoff before but i got to transfer and you will see people turn on each other for internal
jobs.
Even 2s are being offered. You need to take it if you are a 2 as you will be layed off.
