STI calculation confusion

Hi Everyone, couldn't find this anywhere, including on my comp sheet.

So we know that 50% of our STI is paid at 103% this year, but how do we know what the other half is paid at? It is not stated in my sheet, just has my year end salary, STI target, and STI payout amount

Thanks in advance

The other 50% is from your eoy performance rating. Approaching is 85%, Achieving is 100%, etc... For example if you got an approaching on your performance rating then your STI payout would be 94% of the original amount. Hope this helps.

Hope your manager told you what your 8ndividual multiplier was. If they did not, that stinks. Yes you can figure it out with simple math but who has an end of year review and doesn't explain this piece as part of it? Also you should feel free to ask!

It is pretty easy to solve for B. C Being your total. You know your STI total.

Take your STI, divide by 2, then A*1.03
B is the variable
C = Sum of A-B. B is the difference

If we can't figure something like this out, we are in trouble as a society and a company. Just ask Chatgpt.
