RTO is the way leadership tries to disconnect you from your true self and break your free will. Employees are in the middle of a spiritual war on consciousness. The idea is to disconnect you from yourself so that you don’t realize the power that resides within you. They know the numbers are against them and everyone is unhappy and unmotivated.
So what do they do? Introduce the broken average hours report. Share it with the entire company, knowing it’s not accurate, as a way to instill fear and gaslight you into working extra hours because of the unsustainable decrease in productivity due to the 5x8 RTO mandate. For most people RTO means working 10-15 less average hours a week than with WFH or even 3 days.
Don’t let them break you. Do your 8 and skate, track your own hours, and call out the broken average hours report when it’s wrong. Make them tell you why you’re being accused of RTO non-compliance based on inaccurate data. Then share your own.
