Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Vz inside trades

Craig has been consistently selling 1558 shares since January.
Hans actually picked up 90,000 over the summer.
No way he paid $52. His strike price had to be lower.

I don't see anything wrong with the execs buying and selling stock, assuming it's all on the up and up.

They're all mad because VPs and above are required to maintain a certain amount of stock, so they're all losing money like crazy... and they really don't make that much. VP - 900k, SVP - 1-3M, EVP - 6-10M... That's not much... there's only ~300 out of 120k employees. Anything less than, pick a number, 50M and you're still a worker bee... The execs all live in 1-2.5M homes... that's not ballin' in northern NJ. Hans' house was 4-5M, but I think that was more of an investment in a wealthy town.

Also, the VPs and up are all mid-40s or older and most will be ousted at some point, so they're not making that for 20 years for the most part.

We should really be ragging on Blackrock who I think needed the dividend to get to 7% to support their retirement/investment products.

Also, way too may brands... way too many plans... Prepaid value, prepaid premium, post paid value, post paid premium, post paid flagship.... so tracfone becomes prepaid value, visible prepaid premium, forget total, post paid welcome, post paid throttled w/bundle and post paid true unlimited/not throttled. Above a certain usage and you're switched to FWA or small biz pricing (stated transparently).
