It’s no wonder why Verizon is doing so poorly. Managements woke agenda is not resonating with its customers. All of the political pandering and meaningless dribble on executive conference calls was a giant red flag. Get out while you can!!!!

@ bwp+1jnUofvj . I not sure why some have a problem with volunteering, yes they asked us too and yes we were somewhat chased but literally took some of us 30 mins to complete 3 or 4 hrs never leaving the desk/chair. So again, why bother getting all worked up for something as easy as that.
What kind of rock have you been living under. The drumbeat of you must comply to forced volunteerism in Verizon goes against the very word! What I do outside my working hours is MY BUSINESS and the company should have zero say in the matter. I did not sign up for this, I signed up to be an engineer, even to the point of earning a masters degree. I had to beg and plead with HR to excuse myself from all this forced volunteerism as my wife and I run charity as we have 401(c) status. Verizon refused to partake in our charity as well to add insult to this forced volunteerism. In the end, after getting a lawyer I have been excused from this Verizon woke forced nonsense. Maybe you need to crack open a dictionary and look up the word volunteer to learn what the word actually means. And what is diversity... it seems that only the views set out by Verizon top brass are allowed, I hardly call that "diverse". I hardly call it diverse to shout someone down because you don't believe as they do or they don't want to partake in your woke world. You knuckle dragging nitwits only want one view, your view to win the day.. that is no diversity, that is called forced compliance.
Who knew volunteerism and diversity are more dangerous than being higher priced than your competitors with minimal differences? I can't believe all those customers are leaving VZ because of how much they want to volunteer or respect pronoun usage. Could have doubled the prices and ignored the rest!!
