Does today announcement means entire P&T will be merged into business or only parts of it ?

using weasel words and sneaky language doesn’t mean the situation about Step 3 was fairly presented. seriously?

Those that refer to step 3… this was an IDT specific thing - and the leaders said, no step 3 planned from IDT perspective but there is always business driven change… guess what, business driven change. Also note in Robin’s not comment about lift and shift whole units. So what does that mean in IDT, get on with your work, no point worrying, for now until into 2026 nothing further, and then likely reporting line change at the top on the basis of of has been communicated.

Moving all IT to the India Hub is not the end goal. Cutting is up into pieces and moving it to cheap Indian service companies is the end goal.
Like what happened back in 2009 with outsourcing internal IT to HP, ATT and Tsystems.

there is simply more changes to come like getting rid of P&T and continuing to “evolve” IDT
anyway please don’t share unfounded rumors of step 3! we don’t call it step 3 verbatim so it doesn’t exist and that’s a mean unfounded rumor! grr!
Looking at the Robin's message they want to take whole, intact EVPs or VPs and move them to different businesses for now. What will be atter that ? God one knows.....

My paranoid mind running down the rabbit hole: Seems like P&T "Technical Divisions" will be retained, others will go the route of the dodo. But...what is technical and not? Project Services is not considered technical on pay scales. Project Engineering is considered technical on payscale. But, is Project engineering, ignoring payscale, technical compared to people in say, Flow Assurance? Yay for self doubt, rabbit holes, insecurities and waiting! Been in Shell P&T (and Shell) for a little less than 10 years. I've never been worried about layoffs til this time around.
Apparently, they are on a journey to reorganize PT into Shell Bangalore.
Sadly not many p&t to cut, but a good excuse to re-org the departments where the few p&t folks will go and cut some non p&t positions at the same time.
I’m not sure there is much left of P&T to cut.
Presumably the movement of p&t folks into roles in other parts of the business will trigger re-shape 3.0 and a reason for more cuts across all departments.
I think that is quite clearly answered… or rather the fuller answer will be in 2026 but there wont be a PT in its current form with an EC director
