I think it would be efficient to get rid of all of the people involved in trying to get people to come to the office. There are platoons of people in HR that have calls to have calls, fly out to locations to oversee a half hour engagement meeting or perform a simple volunteer effort. Since the company has met its 2.5 million hour volunteer goal the focus needs to be on CX and profit maximization going forward. The only color Big Red should care about is Green.
We are called directors in BR and have formed DONE. Department of No Efficiency.
We spend all day on pointless Webex calls and write nice emails that produce zero results and we’re really good at it and make a lot of money.
Associate director above me technically has no role. They can’t work on day to day jobs , they can’t work on leadership level work.
Just waste of time for everyone. They are like admin..

VGS was yet a really poor attempt at trying to outsource various operations. Everything that they thought could be outsourced they out there. It failed miserably because leadership doesn’t understand what any group that doesn’t make money does.
Interesting comment regarding VGS. That is a solid mess created by the now gone EVPs. Although Hans always is successful to shift blame to his subordinates and himself survives. So who knows.
Btw President #2 shall also retire after long planning soon. He is the root cause of all the sins. Wouldn’t get a role as an IT support anywhere else.
Must be referring to either VGS transformation or Strategic Business Operations as the badly dismantled group. Pillars of VGS are continuous pointless reorgs, constant changes in direction, toxic positivity about offshoring American jobs, and lying to vteamers about the real reasons leaders keep leaving. As VGS president #1 said when leaving - nothing to see here! Then the group goes through massive changes less than 2 years in with several more “long planned retirements.” What a world class department full of purpose and organizational clarity. Go beyond!
the best part about the 3rd party people doing Up to Speed was that they get to go to the Super Bowl on the company's dime.
The meatball could've had a few top sales performers, some of the top ops people, etc go instead as a nice reward for doing well

There was a group like that in VGS that was badly dismantled. It was then pushed down in the org whose leader doesn’t know which way is her head and which way is her you know what. She is a clueless part of Hans magic hiring strategy.
My idea for efficiency is to eliminate SVP and VP roles and up level current Sr Dir roles into VP titles without any pay adjustments.
Also stop paying the 3rd party clowns that are surviving longer than the employees.
Last when is the next Up to Speed where Hanz will cry again for the DEI situations
