CTC & Middle Managers have to go

The entire CTC organization is in dire need of restructuring and downsizing. Most of its members possess some sort of industry certifications but lack practical, real-world experience. Many excel as test takers (that's it), but that skill doesn't always translate to practical expertise or meaningful contributions. While they dominate conversations during meetings and seek attention, their input often fails to add tangible value to the underline JPMC business. CTC seems to function more like a chaotic swarm, with individuals interfering in others’ responsibilities rather than focusing on their own tasks. Only a small minority— let's say 1% —genuinely care about the firm's security and overall well-being, highlighting a critical gap in both competence and dedication within the organization.

This mismatch between theoretical knowledge and real-world impact poses significant challenges and frankly its a waste of company $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Therefore, the solution might involve letting go of the 99% of individuals who contribute little beyond empty talk. Removing those who lack real-world skills and fail to add value is the key.

Same for ALL the middle managers! There is no career pathing. People managers are not managing people, they are managing their own agenda and ego. Get rid of them = lose weight = healthy living = more productive work enviroment

It’s there everywhere within chase. They need to remove lot of junk from middle layer. We have an engineering lead by luck who mainly does project management and no tech skill. He assigns stories to himself but never work on it but if others are stuck with real reasons or blockers he don’t understand any of those hurdles. All he thinks is he is paying all his reporting employees out of his own pocket. Hence he keeps making sure they are always busy. But he never finishes his own story and carryover. No one can ask that. But in front of ED he acts like he is working on 8 points every sprint but hardly finishes 1 point per sprint. He removes others from visible projects like AI etc even though he has no skills or certification along those lines. If someone asks he says ” the team is busy with other work” hence I took that story.. He blocks others from moving up and has fear of people outsmarting him. If such people are in those position by luck , those positions needs to be reevaluated for both individuals and company growth
