Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

This company is an embarrassment.

It’s hard to believe that just a few years ago we were the preferred vendor in the majority of stores. Now our service schedule is embarrassing and the help we send in for service does an embarrassing job. You can’t go to any store anymore without it turning into an all day project fixing the place up and completing other peoples work. Every stop is just a walk of shame apologizing for things that aren’t your fault or you have no control over. It has to be an astronomical amount of sales lost the last couple years due to these id--tic changes.

Mondelez literally will hire a ftow off the streets hand them a tablet and they're writing orders by themselves 3 days later when they don't even know how to merchandise. Then good employees will leave because they follow behind the lazy or untrained merchandisers. Toxic culture.

Part of the problem is useless management. There’s no proper training of new hires anymore. They’re more concerned with the endless email and reports. And there’s no repercussions or accountability for not doing the job right, so a lot of people take advantage of that. Not many people are willing to work hard when you can just do what you feel like doing and nobody cares.

I'm a order writer and I work like the devil in the stores. I build endcaps, side caps and displays and keep them full. The 4x4 is always neat and full. DMI is always taken. I ask for places for hutches or side caps/end caps. I always work the delivery completely, order and work credits. I check the order, send to SAP and then check it's received.
Please don't judge all order writers as useless. There are good and bad employees on every level of employment.

Atleast it keeps things exciting. You never know what you'll walk into when you get to a store. Displays may or may not be built, orders may or may not be worked from previous delivery days, displays may be completely empty along with the aisle. You just never know hahaha

Management is the worst here. They will yell at sales reps for everything but won't do anything about all the merchandisers who do nothing. It's pathetic and makes me think they want all the reps to leave so they can restructure routes with the ftows and then hold them accountable as reps while still paying them a merchandising salary. This company is a joke. Get out.

Stop, doing any more than you have to, don’t work more than 8 hrs, just walk out, these entities aren’t “people.” It takes people to run them at the directions of the “billionaires’’ “shareholders”& CEO(all of upper management) YOU DON’T OWE THEM ANYMORE THAN 8hrs. The reality is, if economy/fed. Gov. dismantling, keeps going at this mock speed, the economy will collapse by May 2025. That coming from Nobel Prize wining economists.
