NFL highest player $60,000,000 lowest ~250,000. Business - Sports... Getting paid, play the game. Be happy.

The minimum salary for the 2025 NFL season will be $840,000 for rookies and $960,000 for veterans. Three years experience is over $1Million.

@b0

Minimum is $840,000 for 2025

That means the range is less than 100x.

Way to make a pro-union argument!

I'm all for reducing CEO pay or at least, if the CEO gets a 20% raise, that shouldn't mean that everyone else gets 2%. I don't know what the solution is, maybe a comparison to avg or median pay.

I don't like the idea of more regulations though.ao, the more simple and less guardrails the better.Has to be a middle ground.

CEO pay doesn't impact me negatively. My pay does.

How about morale, incentive to work hard all getting hammered.

Taxing the CEO class is harder than it sounds. Lots of strategies to minimize it, and even if there were zero loopholes, nothing stops boards from simply paying more. 'oh, new 20% CEO tax? Ok, here's a 25% pay increase, you know, for strong performance and things.'

I don't mind good CEOs getting paid a lot. What I don't like is failed POS liars like shart getting a dime.

The notion that a CEO being paid less means that you're paid more is genuinely id--tic.

8 people on the planet have as much wealth as a combined 4 billion people.

This is not sustainable.

Its crazy when you think about the rationale for corporate greed led WF to serious abuses of their employees and customers. I would get behind a CEO tax on corporations that have their CEO's making hundreds of times more than the average person, as well as getting rid of stock buybacks altogether.
