I worked in this building for the last 5 years and it was atrocious. Only 3 of the floors had working plumbing and most floors were stripped down to concrete and steel. When I heard RTO was happening, I placed a request for wifi in the building for my team. We were forced to work from a shared hotspot for nearly 3 years while we waited because the single T1 wouldn’t support Teams calls. There was no climate control, so some days it was 80 and others 61. And to top it off, 3 hours a month of janitorial services for the entire building. Maybe Reign can return it to it’s former glory, but good luck.
That was one of the properties named in the sale-lease back a few weeks ago, but the price was quoted a lot lower then. Wonder if it's still part of that or if they spun it off separately?
In the end at&t will own no assets. NONE
Reign CO2 Propco LLC is associated with Reign Capital, a New York based real estate development and management firm that JUST HAPPENS to have a tax mailing address that is listed as AT&T Services.
At this point I would take the term “Propco” to heart. (Prop up company)
This whole thing smells once again like assets are getting shedded from AT&T and the windfall being handed to the dirty hands with handprints all over these LLC’s.
Saw picture of the lobby--it's magnificent.
