Thread regarding JPMorgan Chase & Co. layoffs

Call centers

Is it true that the call centers are exempt from RTO? Wouldn’t they pose the most risk?

“ About 10 percent of the bank's jobs operate on a fully remote basis and have stayed that way even after the return-to-office mandate.

JPMorgan runs virtual call centers in Baltimore and Detroit that collectively employ more than 100 remote workers.”

Let them be. They work hard enough.

Are you doing work that matters since you are permitted to be 100% remote?

Most are still on hybrid that uses genysys system that tracks them every move they make for the day. Worst system I rather go full time then be tracked that way !!

No, it’s not

There are two remote call centers which have no physical location and are instead 100% remote employees. Every other call center has a physical location and building(s) which has either already returned to office or is pending guidance from real estate and management on when and how to do so in the near future
