No buyout now

Why would anyone take a buyout at the beginning of the trump recession.

Many people took the VSP bc Verizon is in a state of flux and will likely be trimmed to bare bones anyway.

Most companies are thinning their workforce...even banking. Plus VZ is likely to be sued for firing people that didn't want to disclose their jab status. The more they can have take the VSP the less people can sue them for that cr-p. Good luck to all.

Stress. What a bunch of pu----s. You guys have no idea of what stress is. Most of the people that work at this company are a far cry from the GTE folks. Military serviced individuals that actually knew what stress was. Today people are “stressed” because they may have to return to the office and stop wearing their pajamas all day.

If the offer is good, I’ll take it. I’ve got better things to do with my time.

The original poster is not likely a union worker because they are all about to get busy building out and fixing what was supposed to be built out in the BS Infrastructure bill. Now our power grids, communications infrastructures, oil, gas, coal, and manufacturing is about to bo-m. Not everyone wants to be a model-making MBA.

Some just want to be paid well for doing what they do well, then go home and forget about it. Those people have been getting pounded for decades and are about to get a little justice. Good for them. My guess is they are just another unhappy dei globalist goon who knows that the party is over and time is running out to hang at Starbucks.

Because the company helped the FBI spy on Trump and friends. Trump does not forget or forgive easily.

All of the wokies and globalists will eventually be driven out of the company before Trump's term ends and the FCC rat line is open for business while they are investigating the company.

I love the smell of globalist careers burning in the morning!

If a leader committed sue-aside don't follow the "leader".

Everyone has different reasons. Some I know didn’t take it the last 4 due to high interest rates, high prices, etc. Go figure

Many people leaders took vsp due to chronic stress. There’s even a leader that committed su----e. Yet the good vibes pretending everything is fine continue on. The best way to survive is to not care about your work product or what your leaders think of you. It’s literally impossible when standing on quicksand of constant and relentless change. And if your team actually uses their vacation time - enjoy covering for that too with no relief. One can only take so much, but hang in there for anyone wavering. Being treated like dirt every second of every out of control fire drill day with unrealistic expectations is better than being in this job market right now.
