Thread regarding Ford layoffs

What WILL Doug Field get done this week!

Let’s get some jira tasks so we can keep tabs. We can return Friday for our retro to see how it went. He seems to need some help with accountability.

Let’s consult the great savior Robert Fritz and his holy book, The FST. In one of the verses he speaks on the lore regarding oscillating behavior on a driveway where despite accelerating forward, we end up going backwards. This is the result of tying motivation to solving a problem instead of thinking structurally and starting without preconception. We cannot try to fix beavis (Jim) and bu-----d (Doug) we will only find ourselves where we started for structure requires equilibrium. It’s time we recognize the truth. Both individuals in this study and neither the one nor the two. For them three times the charm. But for anyone smart, it’s supposed to be “fool me once”. Fooled twice 💔💔❤️

dn+1jph2qh0p cb+1jph2qh0p first i1jbh what has DF done? Answer "0".. All I see under JF/DF lost the top selling vehicle. That is what DF the political job hopper has done along with Mr. I am the smartest man in the room just ask Farley.. Well Smart boy what are you doing to fix Ford after all your sc--wups? I can suggest you step down . because you have demonstrated you are not a true leader or visionary. You are a political animal. You have been in charge since 2020 and a senior executive. sorry to tell you but your track record does not give me any confidence.

The positive view of Model e, DF, and the other areas of his leadership are held in high regard by the super majority of Ford employees. This extends to all other members of Ford leadership. That is a fact. Pay attention to the chat in the next Global Town Hall and you will see for yourself.

If anything else, this thread opens our eyes to how many Ford employees are jealous of DF, his accomplishments, and leadership role at Ford.

We were presented with a directive to document everything in JIRA.
No instructions, no templates, just a JIRA link.
Not going to happen without at least a management email with some information.

If things don't improve, just reinstate DEI initiatives and go back to being woke. I hear that strategy is as good as an EV strategy. Errr...or is that tragedy?

Doug’s next Jira epic:
Knowledge Transfer

  • Document senior management’s secret method of claiming credit.

Blocker:
Senior leadership busy rehearsing talking points in “meeting of the minds” (noted in outlook calendar).

Vocab:
Distinguish between ‘visibility’ and ‘contribution’.

Deliverable:

  • Clearly demonstrate how each Jira task contributes directly to reversing current downward trends in connected services.

Blocker:

  • Doug marked “connected services performance” as an external dependency—immediate clarification required.

I’m going to need a daily status report on DF’s workload containing:

What they will accomplish today?
Any blockers preventing them?

I will also need Doug to participate in 2 weekly status report meetings. A 1 on 1 with their manager reporting their status. Then a review on Thursday to check in on status.

Oh also look up the definition of what a promotion is.
