Thread regarding Ford layoffs

This place is pathetic and sad; work here if you have no dreams and want to be mediocre

Takes weeks to months to get anything done, lot of passive aggressiveness and a general aversion to working here. People just paper push, warm their seats and pretend to do actual work.

99% of the people here are mentally checked out and collecting a paycheck

Joining Ford was the biggest regret of my life; this place is absolute garbage and is where dreams go to do die forever.

This is the same post as last week, and the week before, and the week before that... I think it's AI generated.

How naive. Ford selectively preys on young talent that is good but may have limited options, sometimes through association with Ford such as a previous internship. They are marked and others usually back off in this state. They don't retain talent by choice, they limit choice. Then you have dillusioned ford vets responding to this problem with this instead of reframing what are we doing wrong with our younger talent.

Younger people will not stay on at Ford for more than 3 years. If you do, then you have no talent to find a better job. Most other older people have no choice but hang on until they can retire. Ford has a pool of employees with no motivation or talent.

Ford can always opt to rehire Hackett and diversify into battery powered desks and office chairs. Won't lose as much $ that way.

Same as GM. A daily exercise in aggravation.
