Each time I see a bit clearer how disposable they consider us and it affects my work ethic. Why should I give it my all for a place that will cut without a second thought no matter how good I am at what I do? I'm getting to a point where my bare minimum will be too much for this place.

Start looking for a job if you feel that way. Regardless the justification, don't let yourself stagnate, burn out or objectively become a bad colleague. It's corrosive to everyone around and yourself. In the meantime, use the time to get in better shape, burn some vacation time and do something inspiring or fun, or at least rediscover a few great albums and listen to em end to end.
Honestly mine goes up. I started in towers and didn't do much for years, eventually took a role on the network side and everytime they cut a ton of people more work piles up

You're spot on. Don't give your 'all' to a company. Give your best, but always keep something for yourself. Companies will act in their best interest, and you should too."
Your value isn't defined by a single company. Do your job well, but prioritize your own growth and development. Remember, you're investing in yourself, not just a paycheck.
Previously, Crown had opened up people to volunteer to be laid off and get a severance packages. You had to submit on connect and it was up to manager discretion if I’m not mistaken. I wonder if they are going to do anything like that again this time. Better than waiting around forever to find out if you’ll get an offer from the new places.
Your job should never be your whole life. Corporate America doesn’t care about you.
Is there a layoff round currently underway? I thought the last round was December folks extended from June 24 announcement.
