Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Soft Q1 yet same year end guidance

VZ soft Q1 and yet same guidance means only one thing: More layoffs to cut the bottom line because top line refuses to grow. Also, competitors are more aggressive per their reasoning meaning stock will see the pressure post Q1 results announcements.

I am hearing that lists are being asked of the managers for additional than planned RIFs. Moreover, DEI and other issues that are about to hit VZ will impact conservatives canceling and fleeing to Starlink friendly operator, you know who. All in all, very very bad news for VZ is still to come.

Han must go and so should his leadership team of yes men and women cronnies. Stop updating and posting and reposting each others LinkedIn and get actually work done.

But we were told two years ago that if we just created a Chief Revenue Officer, we would get more revenue. How can results be soft?

Deeper cuts is no surprise.

I think the new administration cleaning up the government fleecing through lucrative contracts will be bigger news.

This company back haul is old and leaders are from 1980s school. CIO is a mo--n tbh.
