Hearing more about Supervisors having chain of Command of at least 6 GSRs. Despite some directors reporting to other directors. Impression is manager is worried about cuts. Feeling a disturbance in the force.

I cringe everything I hear "dotted line to" and see odd org charts. Can't even use Microsoft as an org chart because everything is so convoluted. The Ford way is the inefficient way.
Start in the Studio. Fire everyone from VP of Design down to LL6 positions.
This is the most corrupt organization at Ford Motor Company.
We had LL6's in our group that had 40 reports so this corrupt organization could have managers with 1 or 2 reports to balance out our org chart.
While you are at it fire the whole HR group at Ford that was allowing it to happen.
