Isn't being in business to make sales. Then why keep doing this so called CEO. Your so called leadership and team is the worst. What a laughing stock to the business world and pretty sad for their employees.

Yeah notice no change in loss prevention strategy after he said that. He knows and doesn't care, shrink is worse to him than lost sales.
I think this is just word salad designed to fill space while he works with Pessina to dismantle the company. Loss prevention at Walgreens and at every company has known that locking things up decreases sales. This is common knowledge and has been known for decades upon decades. There is no way Walgreens didn't know this.
"How do you people continue working for a crooked and fraudulent company." I'm assuming most work here for a paycheck. Walgreens has become a company you work for when you can't get a job anywhere else. High turnover insures there will be job openings. I'm at the end of my "career" here and not mentally invested so I'll just get some popcorn and watch the dumpster fire unfold as the Sycamore buyout looms. I never could understand why Walgreens never attempted to improve the horrible company culture we all endure. It may have helped Walgreens from getting into the situation it sees itself in now.
Who cares it is old. This is a reminder that this company is run by clueless conmen.
