Telecom DEI and Sourcing Policy

Has anyone of you received an email to talk about Telecom DEI and Sourcing Policy stating you will be compensated for your time and you don’t have to divulge any confidential information. However given why I got the email the only reason is that I am at VZ……

Just got the note from leadership about Hanz repatriating all of the CS jobs back to the States that he offshored to lands with no fiber optic infrastructure just to win his DEI merit badge!

APRIL FOOLS!

Being led by foreign fools is a core incompetency of VZ 2.0 and DEI is going to derail the deal because there is nothing in it for the subscribers or non Blackrock and State Street shareowners.

DEI is a distraction so they are able to outsource under the radar. Hire 500 DEI's
and outsource 20k +

A company run by not how well they can provide telephone service but what they look like and which bathroom they use. This is why the FCC will shut the deal down. Because the customer will suffer due to the institutional racism embedded in the 2.0 culture. The USA's magic sauce is its 'melting pot' feature not diversity aka bigotry.

RE: DEI page. Let me guess, not a single white guy. Surprising since in the US it is a minority group.

What is missing from the pictures on this web page? I bet the fcc will find this interesting.

Then again McAdam and Stratton were proud to be Americans. This executive team and board of directors can't say that. This is more of a Brussels and Bangalore oriented team. Anywhere but here despite here's where the money comes from!

It is worth noting that the Diversity Council is filing for bankruptcy because the former chief executive and cfo took off with the money. Didn't Earn It has always been about stealing and robbing people's money, jobs, careers, ethics, and dignity. When the company started paying regular cash bonuses for hiring women and protected classes of workers, over American men, that's when the downfall began.

I'm old enough to remember McAdam and Stratton and Small PROUDLY proclaim that all of our CS reps were US based.
That went the way that CDMA went - into the dumpster!

I will be shocked if Hans is not gone by the end of the year. He damaged the company and country with his DEI nonsense.

This is DEFINITELY NOT going away anytime soon, though many execs might! What has been going on is a crime.

seems like all of the hr, h1bs and bangalore employees don't want it to be discussed and try to run and hide what they and the company doing with dei and esg now that blackrock and chase are shutting it down in their stores. this year will be interesting.

DEI is dying despite how hard Hans and HR try to reimagine the language around it, especially since he can barely say his name or 5 yeee in English.

I did get a LinkedIn query from someone wanting to know certain things. Did not reply. I did my replying on the FCC site. It is amazing how many peeps lost their jobs and were pushed out to make room for 'contractors' and new groups from a certain country. What a scam. One C suite smarty who came to us by way of consulting and who may likely succeed his boss as king of the hill is/was the sponsor for many, many employees from a certain country. Most of them of course never delivered on any plans or promises at all in return for that rich comp. Nice people, but not worth the disturbance to the business and strategy. Read an article on the importance of corporate patriotism now. None of that is happening here!

DEI and the South Asian takeover of the company by the Davos crowd has been an abysmal failure and demonstrated in loud colors why diversity is not a strength but rather a cultural cancer!

The idea and purpose of work is to build a team capable of working together to achieve a purpose. The ONLY work that the South Asian contingent is doing is providing more jobs to South Asians, less to East Asians, and none for the USA.

I do hope that thousands and thousands of current and former employees fill the FCC rat line with true stories of the H1b scamming and offshoring of American jobs which can be attributable to no more than 10 execs. It is time for the FCC to give them the bill for all the damage they have caused to the USA's communication infrastructure and business culture!

Our strength in the USA is NOT diversity but 'E Pluribus Unum' of many diverse peoples.

FCC Chairman Brendan Carr opened a probe into Vz’s DEI hiring practices back in February. Seems like an unlikely coincidence if people are getting emails concerning it. A similar probe was opened for Comca$t as well.
