The worst bosses I have had in my career with AT&T have been the legacy SWB aholes. They were dishonest and micromanagers.
RTO isn’t will damage but wont ki-l AT&T realistically. What WILL ki-l it is the condensation of hub offices until only Dallas remains. Great amounts of brain drain is happening by people not “following the work” and hooking up with our competitors, driving any kind of edge we have into the ground. Only thing left will be the c-suits and micromanagers that cant find their as ses with two hands and a searching party.

Different org here. Been doing this two years now. They won’t back down on it. They don’t care. We are so burned out. Working both at office and home nights and weekends, and it is still not good enough. Fighting for desks, toxic culture. I say cut their pay to the level of the lowest employee on their team and tell them to be in office just as much and give up their spot in the executive parking garage. Take away their privileges. Let them do that for a few weeks.
