India, I’m sure is a lovely country full of history and culture. But if there’s one place on earth I’d never want to raise my children - especially my daughters - it would be in India. I first learned about female infanticide because of India. Now, the country gets to grapple with so many single men because they ki-led off the baby girls. Women are coming in from nearby asian countries as brides because the poor Indian mothers are overworked doing everything for their husbands AND their sons. Because that’s a woman’s job - care for her man.
For a US company whose employees had been so tightly aligned with Christian beliefs, it’s atrocious we’re offshoring so much work there. But yay! Lower costs! Money is the root of all evil.
