Alienating even more customers

one more reason I'm happy with mint mobile. Cheaper than the employee discount and is on the t-mobile network which is just as good as whatever T wants to call 5G these days. Plus won't get stuck with the price increase stuck to any contract I have with T when they lay me off.

“ If you sell it the next day, it will be worth very close to the cash award price, so the actual price it’s awarded means very little.”

I agree, however I feel like we should be able to direct it to whatever option we choose. There are many employees who do it know that you can move it.

“ The company match in the 401K has to go into company stock but employees don’t have control over the price they pay or sell it for but anyone doing day trading and knows when the 401K deposits drop can make a little money off of that 1 to 2 day price rise.”

You can decide to diversify or keep it the day after you buy it. Roll the free money right into whatever else your asset allocation needs.

If you sell it the next day, it will be worth very close to the cash award price, so the actual price it’s awarded means very little.

They want employees to be optimistic and hold or buy stock while they are selling. They make the “deferred salary” and “stock option” awards sound great but does anyone know any employees who have benefited from those programs? My options awards never made me even $1 because they expired before the price rose to the level they were issues at. The company match in the 401K has to go into company stock but employees don’t have control over the price they pay or sell it for but anyone doing day trading and knows when the 401K deposits drop can make a little money off of that 1 to 2 day price rise. Why should employees have confidence in the stock when the ones telling us to are selling theirs?

"Company spokesperson ... confirmed that the changes were coming, explaining that it was doing so to “align with others in the industry.”

Unfortunately, those discounts were what was keeping our overall price in line with others in the industry. BC even if Verizon and T-Mo are reducing their discounts, they are still cheaper overall than T.
