Clearly there is no appreciation at the top for upstream employees or business. No plans beyond Guyana and Permian which won’t last forever. Technical ability has been gutted. It is shocking to see the industry experts we once employed PIPd late in their career after decades of contributions. We clearly no longer have the ability to do anything other than the routine already tried and proven. We are a shadow of the once mighty ExxonMobil. They won’t stop until all jobs are moved to India. Who knows, maybe we will become a Tata subsidiary.

Oil companies are going to be like cigarette companies in the 90s. Boring, hated, and dividend machines.
You guys need to chill. Who in this industry has any form a pipeline? Look at what CVX Shell and BP have, xom has the best portfolio with Guyana and Pioneer. This is an industry in decline. This is not the xom that you want your kids to work for but it’s the xom that will pay your bills for a long time
