I guess we’re all supposed to retrain in AI or start flipping burgers. At this point, it’s obvious companies would rather ship every tech support role overseas than pay us what we're worth.

I wonder how the Donald will apply tariffs to overseas jobs?
Flipping burger jobs will be replaced with automation the moment the labor cost warrants a capital investment. I.E. - if flipping burgers paid a living wage, the jobs would disappear.
People scream that "they can do their job from anywhere", but when the company hires from anywhere that they believe they could work from, they scream "that job should be here"
You'll be lucky to get a burger flipper job.
This has been going on since the 1960s. They've been covering it up with various schemes like running big deficits and big debts. They offshore to cheaper countries. I don't know how you can reverse that. If they bring jobs back to the US, do you really think you will get anything that is even close to a wage that you can live on?
