For those with direct knowledge how was this communicated? I expect the same thing is coming for USA, Canada, and Australia.

Singapore office too
How was is communicated? Invite with a few hours notice to one of two sessions: impacted or not impacted. Used the same blueprint as 2020 cuts.
They ran in person sessions as well as Zoom option for those who couldn’t be in the room.
This is being dressed up as an office closure and consolidation of employees into a smaller number of locations. Don’t fall for it.
250 jobs are being cut plus adding in 40 expats who they are forcing to return home.
Over 90% of the Upstream workforce are being cut. EMTEC and Global Projects are losing 2/3.
Melbourne Australia company building was sold five or more years ago. Leasing space now making a sale easier.
@d1+1jqsbv9nw Yes, relocation to Fawley is being offered, however it you are a Leatherhead employee there is no way you would select to move out of that location and better opportunity pool in that business space.
This isn't being driven a building lease expiring, it's the packaging for the UK business sale, following the similar process already concluded in Australia.
Predict UK business sale announced in 12 months.
Are they offering relocation packages to those that change from Learherhead to Fawley?
They are starting construction to cut off the calgary campus in half so….
Town hall invite, followed by a town hall, followed by one of two emails - “impacted” or “not impacted”
IMO, as distinct from Calgary / Melbourne, the Leatherhead lease issue forced a decision to either recontract employees to a new location or reduce the workforce.
It's already happening. In Canada if you aren't working at the refinery you shall be in Calgary (until your job is moved to Houston or a ow cost center).
US is also starting to force people to campus. Sales used to be able to be home based in their sales area, now they are being called in.
