I worked a little over a weekend to do some system support. I worked 2 hours on Sat and 2 hours on a Sunday. These appeared on my report as in office days and brought down my average hours per office days. I’ll have my supervisor put in ticket to remove these days but it is just so annoying.

I've heard of many people who go into offices that have a gym on weekends and the presence records scr@w their hours up also.
They may have fixed the report by now but I doubt it. The report was counting weekend hours and external as not being in the office as this also happened to a colleague as the Saturday date was on the report. I am not sure if they have fixed it yet as my colleague said he will not make that mistake again and work from home after hours or on weekends.

When I look at the RTO Troubleshooting report it listed me as Internal instead of External when I was working from home one weekend. That is why it added those 2 weekend days to the presence report. However, if my schedule is Monday-Friday, the RTO report should not even include Sat or Sun.
I am not sure how is it possible , because as soon as you are connected to VPN it treats the connection as external , and all external connections are discarded in the presence report logic.
Why are you asking your supervisor to put in a ticket to remove days when you should be asking your supervisor to put in a ticket to fix the problem of poor metrics.
They should just do a combo to tell the story and calculate total hours. Lots of factors could necessitate me leaving early including needs of the business.
So something like total office hours, total days in office, avg daily office hours, total remote hours, total days remote, avg remote hours and then do an all in calculation. Most people are doing way more than 40 per week. Many have to work from home on top of the 8x5 and they aren’t getting credit for that. In our team’s case being in office is impacting operations as we have coverage issues with people commuting. My team was remote long before covid for that reason.

I did my 5x8, so the work can now wait. I used to work 10-12 hrs a day and work on the weekends. That boat has sailed.

How many different hints is it going to take for you to get it? Work ZERO EXTRA HOURS. Work to rule until the policies are rescinded. Customers will have to live with our new degraded service level until leadership is changed.
Don't see how that is possible, and smell a rat.
Stop working at home. 5x8 in the office means no more freebies on my time. What doesn't get done by end of the day gets picked up the next BUSINESS day.
