Thread regarding Fidelity Investments layoffs

There needed to be layoffs

The company is floundering and toxic. Layoffs are the only way Abby and her minions can gain control again. The company would fail any audit for all the mistakes they made with over hiring and nonexistent quality control.

Please send auditors to see the shotshow that was the pandemic

There is product area lead/ VP with 1 squad lead in FBOT/ Brokerage. SM CLs with 3 or 5 SMs in WI, ET and FI. So many squad leads in PI with VP titles doing no or less work than level 6/7.
Bloated program management offices everywhere with only VPs.
Why??? With promotion why responsibilities don't increase?

FCs need to be thinned out. They think they are above everyone but would be grocery baggers without the Fidelity name. Clients consistently getting sc--wed and passed to the PC

There seem to be a lot of Vice Presidents with impressive titles who appear clueless and stupid. Many people have remained at the company for over 15 years, largely because they wouldn’t be hired elsewhere. Most of these long-tenured id--ts come across as mostly out of touch with reality and unfit for standards. The organization would benefit from replacing these outdated employees and revitalizing its workforce. These people have gotten rich by playing politics and su-king up to their bosses. It’s time for them to go.

There have been a LOT of promotions over the last few years.

I have NEVER seen so many directors and VPs in all the time I've worked at Fidelity.

The flabby directors and VPs need to go. Oh, and the d-ee-i also needs to go.

People are going to flip desks if we have a big round of layoffs and the productive segments get squeezed again.

DESKS WILL FLIP!!!!
