Thread regarding Mutual of America Life layoffs

Former Chief Sales Officer News

Is everyone aware he started his own company. Looks like they are selling group retirement plans focusing on the same market as Mutual. Is this a cause for concern for the company ? Thought someone would like to know and care with what's going on. Looks like the advisory stuff is through RPAG.

Our understanding is that Severin started his own company. If you review his website, it looks like he may be trying to compete directly with Mutual of America for business or that is one impression one could get. Everything listed on his website for services is a perceived weak point for Mutual. Also, when you type in Severin's name, there are a ton of marketing pieces him out there still seemingly linking him to Mutual of America. So, from an SEO perspective, he is benefitting from his past affiliation with the firm. If there is anyone from Mutual reading this, you may want to take down or make inactive all of the links and the posts involving Severin, Greed, and other executives who are no longer with the company as all of them are benefitting still from an SEO standpoint. Can't believe Marketing hasn't done this yet. One also has to wonder if there was any type of non compete clause and non solicitation clause in any separation agreement or settlement. If I was the firm, and there wasn't any type of clause like this, it might cause a concern.
