I’ve been at the firm around a decade and I’ve been trying to remember if I’ve had a manager that I like and a manager that was good. I’ve had one of each, never both. Most have been terrible. Maybe that’s just how things are these days?

I had over 20 years with Fido and most of my managers where okay. I had one that was really d-mb -- sadly it was my last one that was the worst. He spent 2 years working on a major restructure of my team that ended with me getting laid off :)
The best managers I had a fidelity were the ones who left me alone and allowed me to do my job
Can't say I ever had a seizure-inducing manager. Were they wearing powerful cologne?
My manager causes me so much stress that I had a seizure. I’m in a low pay grade and don’t impact the company much. Doesn't seem appropriate.
What’s WEPA? It sounds like a dream based on what you said alone.
What group are you in that has a manager Wagner finger in your face? I have had nothing but great managers in WEPA. They seem to really care about my growth and the participants .
Faces* not races
My manager will get right up in peoples races and wag her finger at them. She also talks to us as if we were children. It gets under my skin but if anyone asks her to stop, she says they’re being argumentative.
Wow- i have had some great managers here at Fidelity Hope you have better luck in future.
My last 3 have been awesome
My manager is a weirdo and a d*ck
As a long term employee, I’ve had a few who were excellent but those were long ago. Most managers, especially recently, have been terrible. Senior leadership has no idea how inept managers are. If they need to cut heads, start with those employees because there will be little impact to the real work getting done while saving bigger bucks on those salaries and benefits.
No, most of my managers in my 15 years either quit or got fired. everyone of them di-kheads
I've been here about 15 years and have been fairly lucky with managers. Only 1 that crawled out of the pit of he-l.
