ISG already started from the "top". Its really hard to focus when everyone knows clean sweep will go down the ladder.

“Going to be a mega round right at mid year. I’m sure Bain is cooking up a big restructuring related to the stupid tariffs and economic crash that is coming.”

If Dell actually manufactured their stuff here instead of using slave labor in Asia tariffs would have little impact. It’s time to build and buy American son. The grift is over.

With Sudhir gone, what is the point of keeping anybody?

Seems too many management layers, process and bureaucracy to get anything meaningful finished. WFR 50% of directors will help.

With CI/CD automation what did you expect to happen?

ISG is a large organization, and with their extensive automation of services I wouldn’t be surprised if they WFR the teams. 2 years ago people were skeptical with a big layoff in ISG, and today most of people have a funny feeling it might eventually happen. They are working by successive steps: once they hit sales people, then their next target is ISG (tech support, IC, TAMs, Incident Managers and so on). I was also told 7 years ago by a project manager that Dell was going to focus on core sevices only meaning shredding a lot of organizations with redundants services; but I firmly believe they are now going after core services as well although they increase their revenues after raising their contracts by using Broadcom's strategy (therefore they need to cut headcounts). Time will tell. Lately there's been rounds of layoffs every month.
