HCSC employees who have experienced a RIF in the past couple of years, what did your severance package look like? Just wondering what to possibly expect should we experience one anytime soon.

The last VSP offer required for you to be 50+ years old and 15+ years of service. Part of me hopes they do it again but without the age limit
It's been the standard 2 weeks of severance for 1 year of service.
I don’t know that there will be a layoff, but I think with layoffs happening within other health insurance companies, including other Blues plans, sometimes one just wants to mentally (and emotionally) prepare in case HCSC follows. It’s the “if this happens to me, how will life look in between jobs”. It may never happen or not happen again for a very long time, but just want to have an idea if it does.
I think last time they did a layoff it was a base amount of x weeks severance + 2 weeks for every year of service. Do we actually expect lay offs this year though? Everybody's so antsy but for what?
Yes, great question. I’m curious about the VSP(voluntary separation package) offerings people received a couple of years ago, too. There were very specific guidelines around service years and age that had to be met to get that offer.
