I accepted a relocation package (relo pack for short) last year and the deadline to relocate is in July. I started planning my move with the third party vendor contracted by Wells they manage relocating services. I have kept my manager up to date on my plans, dates I’ll need off and etc. Recently, my manager told me that the location strategy budgets are being scrutinized and all managers with employees that accepted the relo pack are required to submit a Workday Check In to document yes employee intends to move, along with the tentative move dates OR document the employee is not relocating (which would result in termination and ineligibility for unemployment). The way the conversation started, I thought at first I was being told I was being displaced! Just curious if anyone else with a relo pack also experience this? Or know about the location strategy budgets being scrutinized?

Can you give a ball-park coast to coast of relo from west to say Charlotte for P5/M3/M4 job family? this way you are not giving exact $.
Would appreciate if you do and which state to state relo. also how many months were given. is it 1 year or 6 months time to actually relocate after signing the agreement. thank you for the post.
Relocate for THIS company??? I hope the move is to a larger job market for you because ain't nothing committing this company to not displace you after you move. Best of luck to you and your family.
Ok
The OP may be the ONLY person I've heard of that is actually relocating. And I pity you that you have to endure more Wells Fargo. Most want the Golden Ticket and get the he-l out.
Sounds stressful, but they are confirming who actually intends to follow through on the move. Some people say they will relo and then change their minds after they accepted. That becomes a voluntary resignation and they forfeit severance. All of this has impacts to budgets. Best of luck to you.
Thank you for taking the time to post a bunch of words that mean nothing. Appreciate it
