Emerson replacement to cut fat

Level 8/9 who made lots of money already know this.
Your manager knows it too, that's why they're not micro managing you coz soon you'll not be their problem.

Your quarterly check in feels like nothing but a BS session where instead of judging for last quarter they use BS excuse from current quarter to demean you.

All these are signs soon you'll be let go.

What hurts even more? Less deserving folks, who don't even know the product area are made to run the show JUST BEFORE THEY ARE IN A LOCATION FAVOURED BY HR.

I never once heard anything about Emerson even though I worked under his hierarchy, and I only knew that because of the org chart. I'm happy for Emerson, because he probably made it to upper-mid management at some point, staying hidden from the C-suite chit chat and loud talkers, and yet being silent to the hierarchy below him. All the while collecting a steady paycheck of probably several hundred thousand per year. Silent, stealthy wealth accumulation. Best position ever. Silent yet wealth accumulating anonymous nobody. Congrats to Emerson.

Wealth is a joke of a business unit. Too many Grade 8s with zero talent walking around flashing fake-sounding titles. Ki-l off the GCL and architect roles, yank the "Head of" labels, and half these clowns with peanut brains would quit on the spot

Does not matter who it is, if you have been paying attention to the market, in the last 2-3 years any time a company is going through "restructuring, reorganization, realignment", it's all before a major RIF.

Take a hint, if the ship is rocking too much you know you gotta jump before you sink.

Of course your managers will keep lying to you and keep saying otherwise.

For over two years, we have been in the center of this sh*t storm due to BME changes and this just does not seem to stop.

I feel pity for fellow level 4,5,6 individuals who have to live under so much scrutiny and anxiety all th tom when they're the main "Engine room" of fidelity.

And guess what's funny?

You can't show them you're frustrated, angry, upset about lack of clarity.
Moment you do that, it'll negatively reflect in your review, carrier growth.

Management is completely clueless
