Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Let's have some fun.

I was cut 5 weeks ago. They still have not disco'd my desk number. I change my message everyday and always direct them to my old manager's name and cell to call if they need after hours or weekend assistance.

This message makes no sense and I doubt it is valid. However, if it is, you're a fool for updating your message on a daily basis. One message on your voicemail...."I'm no longer with the company, please contact X-X for information" and be done with it. Go back to being away from this dumpster fire we call AT&T.

I installed another carrier LL for diversity to a CO site that I supervised decades ago just in case we lost the AT&T network.
Over 30 years later - that switch is long gone and that number is still active and still goes to my voice mail from 1992! As a 1FB imagine how much money has been WASTED.
Then, imagine how much money is lost or wasted within the entire AT&T network.
Millions perhaps?
I tested this today out of curiosity and Yep - still active. Should I notify AT&T about this?
Yes, if I cared.
Do I care? Nope. I wonder how many more decades this payment will continue.

Well done Sir.

But, “desk phone”?

Those are still a thing?

You’re doing amazing, sweetie. Keep working that unpaid overtime for a company that already ghosted you.
