Don't forget he met with Al Sharpton as part of his post George Floyd "listening session" for what must have clearly been solid business reasons.

Jim Farley is an ID10T

I don’t trust a word he says.

@OP. Call me cynical, but I don't trust a word from JF. Besides, he is a just a pretender (a pretender racer, a pretender CEO, a pretender marketing guy), but in front of the press, he becomes the "great" pretender. "He alone in his wisdom" can save the company, and "He alone knows the future of the car manufacturing industry". He talks in front of the press like he knows anything about anything. Some time passes by, and he has to eat his own words, again and again, because reality is completely the opposite of what is talked in the C-suite at Ford.

No layoffs for hourly. Just extended work stoppage as needed.

As for Salaried employees, they just want people to retire or leave. To them, layoffs cost money they don’t want to pay.
