What’s the difference in designating retirement vs formal resigning at Chevron?

The designation is the same either way in workday - electing to resign.
If you retire you get a fancy lunch or dinner and some speeches.
First of all, spell the entire word “you”. No serious company or person would consider hiring someone who uses “u” and communicates like a 13 year old texting her friends.
If u resign and plan to work somewhere else then its simple, put in yr notice n goto work somewhere.
If u retire then u need to address 401k decisions, if 65 then signup for medicare n decide if you want advantage or medigap supplement (including dental, dr-g, eye decisions), sign up for cvx medical assistance ……, and so on, best to go to cvx hr website on retirement
