Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

"Nonsense"

That was the word GK used during today's town hall to refer to continued questions about RTO.

She's such a pleasant person. /s

Perhaps as an apology, she will share some of her 10mil salary and bonus with all of us who had to endure that sh-t show of an introduction to “her ways”.

It’s blatantly clear, unless you’re one of her direct report yes men, you don’t matter.

I wonder if we will get an apology?
I wonder if she will actually try to smooth over the train wreck she created?
I wonder if the recording will be edited t exclude the Q&A as some sort of “new procedure” to not include that in play backs?
I wonder set what those people sitting around that table with her really truly thought when she said those horrendous things?

Way to pi-s off your peons, Gunjan. You have exceeded your own expectations I’m sure.

I wish Richard Davis was on that call. I couldn't have been more disgusted.

Does anyone know if the Call will be put online?

Google said she was paid 10 million last year but asking about employee benefits is completely selfish. I thought a WOC would be a step in the right direction but she gave “Let them eat Cake” vibes.

Find some friends? You'll celebrate our leaving? Nonsense? What a horrendous letdown of a CEO.

Need a morale boost? Find some friends. Don't like the way things are ran at the bank? Gunjan will support your transition out of US Bank. Wfh better for you? Well it's nonsense. I don't like her.

Yeah, that was pretty shocking. I was optimistic that maybe she would be different, but it looks like she's worse.

When the TTUS results come in with low morale and poor feedback as a result of this call she'll call us all selfish and stay in her insulated group of people who fawn over her and tell her how great she is. If her inner circle isn't looking at her going "so you actually think that went well?" And holding her accountable for being a raging bi--h during her first meeting with all of her employees we are DOOMED.

She's a mean rich girl. Nothing more. There's no leadership there.

If she can’t read the room, she has no business being the President or the CEO. Resign now or suffer the consequences.

Why is everyone surprised. Look at JP Morgan, Amazon, the Federal government. She is following the lead. Until the job market opens more for certain jobs we are SOL. Even then, good luck finding fully remote. Best you can do is find a hybrid job with a more kindly CEO

I don't think I've heard someone in a leadership position with such contempt for the people that keep the company running so the shareholders have shares to begin with. Every single person I've talked to is really upset.

I don't think it could have gone worse as far as her setting the tone for how she intends to run this company. Uff.

She is COMPLETELY out of touch. As soon as she answered the question about RTO by calling it nonsense, the atmosphere of the webcast changed. I wanted to give her a chance but it seems like everything being said about her is true. She's mean, insensitive, rude, dismissive, and it doesn't seem like she cares about the bank, let alone the employees.

Completely totally out of touch, non-empathetic, total BS. Wow, just wow. If only I had a friend at work to talk to.

Did she seriously laugh at and call the person who asked about why we should care about shareholders ‘selfish’?!? Also, is the appropriate response when someone says ‘employee morale is low’ to say ‘no it isn’t and find some friends’? I know people are flawed but that was tacky, low and out of touch when dealing with your average employee here. Thumbs down.

I imagine when the TTUS results show that morale is very low among employees she'll just call it "fake news". Yikes. That was a disaster. My whole team is upset.

This is craziness! I don’t see anyone happy and excited about RTO! I don’t know what narrow minded vision she has been feed but the MAJORITY of what she said about RTO is straight BS! It seems to me that she is not interested or caring about the employees and there will be a mass exodus under her watch as soon as the economy turns around for people to find work!

Based on that comment from her I lost all respect. She’s so out of touch. Has she looked at how miserable employees are in the office? May she go down in flames cause that’s just out of touch and bi--hy.

This CEO is clueless, employee engagement is not high, and nobody wants to RTO. Employee morale is super low. She is a typical rich person who is just straight clueless of her surroundings. Sorry but the Management committee su-k ups aren't your normal regular employees.
