HVD - Love it/Hate it/Ambivalent about it?

Curious about folks sentiments about their HVD sessions.
I find it amazing that it runs as well as it does, given the talentless team they have.
They have just two people that know it on the team, the rest couldn't know less about IT if they tried....

I've used HVD on a BYOD laptop for years. For ligh, normal use it's great. For something more robust would suggest an HP.

Our team was forced over to it some years ago. Issued us all Thin Clients and moved us over. There were TONS of issues. Locked up all the time. Last few years it’s been fine, very stable, almost no issues at all (and they let us go back to real laptops as well).

HVDs have been used by T for years. I had one back 7 or 8 years ago when they converted my old center to them. Never had any issues.

HVD, for everyone else, stands for Hosted Virtual Desktop.
OP, there are less than a handful of standard virtual configurations. Once configured, they just work. 3 people is all you need. See how this game works Jeeves?

T-Man You are clueless about the HVD Team then - if you want to learn about the team send them an email to their support mailbox - quite easy to find the address.
