Why did Belk system go down today, before Mother's Day, were they Cyber Hacked.

To the people who are so frustrated with the system crash, remember you weren’t the only ones. The employees are frustrated too. It ain’t just you.
As someone who works at belk, everyone assumes it was due to a cyber attack because all signs are pointing towards it, although nothing has been confirmed yet. The company has lost millions because of this, since the only way consumers are able to pay is through cash or some credit cards based on the bank. It’s unsure of when anything will be resolved and only the higher ups have been informed of any new updates.
(Monday 12) Could not do a return or exchange. Computer issues still. Been going on for days. No information on what’s going on or how long it will take to fix.
Was so annoying that belk store system wide was down during Mothers Day weekend.
