Change in low performance separation: no more severance package

Just heard rumor, the company just made changes to the Performance Enhance Plan (PEP) to the low performance employees. Instead of giving several month salary severance package, or choose to take PEP training. There is NO MORE severance package. Only the PEP training is left.
So if you get the PEP, try to find a new job and leave ASAP. Do not expect they will change even you take the PEP training.
Ask any amazon employees, they will tell the same thing. Once in PIP (same as PEP in Ford), leave ASAP.

If you’re retirement eligible then retire now and rug-pull Ford now. The best thing I ever did.

This is the thing that is false: There is NO MORE severance package. What is true = 9 months pay.

The current program for poor performers is to voluntarily leave and get 9 months pay. This was just rolled out start of Oct.
