It’s really frustrating when people cannot give a simple explanation and add the details later. The meaning gets lost. Why not answer the question and then add context? This is very relevant to meetings.

Agreed with Op! Just keep it simple. Inform affected employees already, communicate severance package, and talk options based on departure (wait 9 weeks or leave now)..
Don't worry about my "feelings", you will ki-l my job at the end no matter way so get it over with.
No wonder Intel is on the tank with so much overpaid bureaucracy.
We were gonna call it MS-DOS, but that's like some old computer language, so we named it CPM.
The whole thing is starting to look like amateur hour.
Agree, many self important overpaid execs who think we want to listen to them talk in a circle for 1 or 1.5 hours. Guess what, we don’t! We just want to know what will happen next to our jobs and this entire clown show. Sp-t it out already!
Here is an example….. we’ve had HOW MANY meetings already, with more on the horizon, and no real info is coming out on the layoffs? All company meeting, Dave’s take, group level meeting, another group level meeting, HR lady corner meeting, GM has scheduled some meetings, gezus people just get to the point! You have got to be the most inefficient bunch of conveying some simple info I have ever seen.
Could you give a simple explanation of what you mean? Perhaps provide some context? The meaning of your message has got lost. It's very frustrating. Perhaps ypu could add some detail later?
What are you saying exactly? Do you have a specific post in mind? Maybe add that so your audience can make heads or tails out of whatever you are going on about.
