Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Everyone asking is Model e safe

You guys need to chill. Clearly you don't know what Model e all encompasses. You probably came in on the last hiring spree. Go back to the basics. Learn how the company works, how the orgs function. And then maybe you can answer your own question.

Or maybe not cause your dear leaders in Model e have been ripping this company apart bit by bit.

Idk I knew a guy in the 22 or 23 layoffs who was split between blue and model e vehicles, mostly worked on blue, but was safe since technically he fell under model e.

Is Model E the same as skunk works? I’ve been here over a year and still can’t tell. It feels intentional—like the skunk works team is being kept in the dark about broader Ford culture and standards. Maybe it’s because our effort is seen as temporary, or maybe they’re trying to shield us from the usual big-company indecision.
