Walgreens Laid Off the Entire Save-a-Trip Department

Does anyone who has recently been laid off know if they claw back the retention bonuses? Do they still offer a severance?
How do you people still work for a company that is purely unethical and a bunch of crooks? For a pay check? You think some would have morals and say no, but I guess not. Some still stick up for this company,, that is even more pathetic.
Regarding "trouble", I guess you missed my attempt at sarcasm.
Payouts for their 'trouble'? Walgreens executive job is the most comfortable job in the market. They are doing nothing but sit around, wait for the acquisition to happen and then collect their golden checks. Does it get any better? Executives in other companies have real accountabilities. At Walgreens, this leadership team just oversaw the worst performing stock in S&P 500 and they still have their jobs.
Since Sycamore is buying Walgreens out in a few months, I'm not expecting any real investment into what's left of the company. The executive suite is probably just holding there collective breath until the deal is done and will leave Walgreens shortly after with huge payouts for their trouble.
Tim, Neal and the rest are a bunch of id--ts who do not understand the business. They will pay hundreds of millions in legal settlements, but will not do sh-t to fix what is broken.
Walgreens not only wastes money whether it is paying for the floors cleaning or bathrooms once a week...when the employees do it the other six days...they don't give fair raises and that is not even questionable...they ae a bunch of crooks and would rahter pay fine after fine after fine....then sell off the company to a vulture company. Look in the stores look at the outs on the shelves, 1500 to 2200 outs are average in stores. They don't worry about getting product in the stores, but rather push not stop for a 30% interest rate credit card for their customers. They are the worst management team out there. It's a fact. Keep pushing those 30% + interest rate credit cards you fools.
They are cutting cashier hrs.. Hiring people from outside to do resets which means the employees have to redo the resets. Paying someone once a week to do the restrooms which are done by employees the rest of the week. What am I missing here. Whoever is making all these decisions is out of touch with reality. Nothing but sc--w up's.
Good idea but as with most Walgreens initiatives, poorly executed.
Feel sorry for those laid off from the Save-a-Trip department. It is not their fault. If Save-a-Trip did not work, it is the fault of the leaders who decided to create this program. Will any of them get fired? He-l no! Walgreens protects their leaders. The worker bees are laid off.
Stockpiling sheets of blotter?
What the he-l is that?
